Sandbox Development and Consulting Inc. (SDAC Inc.) is an independent development consulting company based in the Chicagoland area. We specialize in web development and user interface design with an emphasis on simplicity, communication, and industry standards since 2005. We offer solutions to both businesses and individuals and can either work as part of your existing developer team or be your sole developers.
Our Team
Sandbox Development and Consulting Inc. was founded by Jennifer Zelazny over a decade ago with the goal of creating solutions that made clients happy/actually want to use technology. While we work hard during business hours – we also feel it is important to enjoy life outside of work as well. If you need someone available 24/7 – we are not the right company. On the other hand – if you need developers that are focused, have a proven workflow and great communication please contact us. We have a combination of seasoned designers, user interface developers, coding gurus, and an amazing server administrator. Although not all our team is in the same timezone, we are based just outside of Chicago, IL and work well together on both big and small projects. Our Development Process
We work closely with our clients from start to finish. We will work with you to provide detailed estimates and project specifications. Once the contracts are in place and we are ready to start working – we provide each client with a development environment (if you do not have one). We use subversion for our version control. Once the project development is completed – we will push all changes to your live site.
Communication
Open communication is essential. All time/work is documented within our project management system which you will have full access to in order to see exactly what development was done throughout the entire project.

Sandbox Development and Consulting Inc. has the ability to customize solutions for all needs. We are based in Chicago but service clients all in the US and abroad. We have worked with a variety of clients: non-profit, education, start-ups, and small businesses – no job is too big or too small. While we specialize in CSS, HTML, WordPress, bbPress, WordPress Mu/Multisite, CodeIgniter, and custom PHP/MySQL applications, we also work with ad servers, third party APIs, and e-commence solutions like Shopify.
