Project Overview
Custom WordPress mobile theme for Poets & Quants that features a custom slideshow and articles for the mobile readers.
Front End Description
We used jQuery Cycle for the slideshow on the home page (brings in custom defined items for the slideshow), drop down menus for the more menu item, as well as custom layouts for the category and single post views.
Back End Description
We used our Lucidity Mobile theme as a base and added in custom elements as needed. Just like the site's non-mobile WordPress theme, the featured items in the slideshow are custom defined as well as the featured home page articles.
Lessons Learned/Random Thoughts
I learned a few good tricks to deal with different view aspects.
