This site is used to keep all friends and family far and near up to date with the latest happenings of Evan.
Front End Description
The audience for this web site was for family and friends of baby Evan. The UI had to be simple and easy to use.
Back End Description
We implemented custom templates, WordPress widgets, etc to make it as easy as possible to manage.
Lessons Learned/Random Thoughts
Providing a web site like this to friends and family members is a great way of keeping everyone in touch with what is going on when someone you care about has a baby or any life event. Being able to share photos, videos, and news to grandparents and great grandparents made this a great project to work on. Knowing that the family and friends looked at the web site, subscribed to the blog, and could comment on anything made for a really neat concept to many who are not familiar with blogs and online communities.
