WordPress 6.1 Available
WordPress 6.1 is the latest major release in 2022 and contains a number of enhancements which focus on usability and performance enhancements
A few of the highlights:
- A new theme: Twenty Twenty-Three
- More block templates/styles
- Cleaner layouts and document settings
- A new API (Style Engine) for more consistent CSS rules
- Improved performance and accessibility (documented here )

If you have not done so already – download the update or simply use your existing installation of WordPress to update your site. Either way – this is an excellent time to make a backup copy of your site(s) before upgrading.
WordPress 5.2 Available
WordPress 5.2 focuses on tools to performance and site security.
WordPress 5.2 adds in a few helpful tools for site administrators to easily debug any configuration errors by going to Admin > Tools > Site Health.
There are also a number of other updates for developers, new Dashboard icons, and accessibility changes that make this a great update for WordPress users.
