SDAC Plugin: SDAC Translate
We are happy to introduce a lightweight translation plugin/widget that allows you to offer site translation using Google Translate.
Our goal was to make something completely customizable, efficient. and lightweight using:
- Completely customizable admin which allows you to choose what languages to display as well as how you want them displayed (language name vs. flag, vs. both).
- CSS sprites so that all flags are loaded in using one image (saving overhead)
- Widget output caching (saving queries)
- No new database tables

Excellent plugin. Unfortunately the UK and Brazil flags are not present. No, they do NOT speak the same language (English in US is not the same of English in Australia, New Zealand and UK) and Brazilian Portuguese and Portuguese at Portugal are as different as apple types and sizes and only an illiterate would ignore the fact (that could be easily fixed by getting some movies of said countries to watch).
I will use it, and reccomend to friends, AFTER the inclusion of mentioned flags.
If you would like to add/change the flags – you can do so. The plugin is under the GPL license.
